Linda Mamet est titulaire d'un BSc (1\u00e8re classe) en biologie et en psychologie appliqu\u00e9e de l'Universit\u00e9 d'Aston, au Royaume-Uni, ainsi que d'un MPhil et d'un PhD en g\u00e9n\u00e9tique v\u00e9g\u00e9tale de l'universit\u00e9 de Cambridge, au Royaume-Uni. Elle a fait de la recherche scientifique \u00e0 l'Institut de recherche de l'industrie de la canne \u00e0 sucre de Maurice de 1986 \u00e0 1999. En 1999, elle a rejoint le Centre R\u00e9gional de Formation (CRF) et a occup\u00e9 le poste de directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de 2005 \u00e0 2019. Son poste le plus r\u00e9cent \u00e9tait celui de directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale int\u00e9rimaire de l'Institut mauricien des directeurs (MIoD). Linda est une directrice non ex\u00e9cutive du MIoD et une directrice ind\u00e9pendante de la Higher Education Commission (HEC). Elle si\u00e8ge dans plusieurs sous-comit\u00e9s du MIoD et de la HEC. \n\nElle est membre de l'Acad\u00e9mie Mauricienne des Sciences et Technologies et de l'Institut Mauricien des Directeurs.
